Executive Assistant

Executive Assistant – Milton Keynes - £28,000

Our client are a leader in their field, based in Milton Keynes. Due to unprecedented growth they are looking to recruit an experienced Executive Assistant to manage a first class service to the Regions Director through effective diary management and robust administration support. Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the needs of the business, but will include
·         Organising decisions on behalf of the Regions Director- including meetings, events and functions and dealing with requests and issues directed at her to alleviate time and commitment demands.

·         Ensuring that, wherever necessary, briefing sessions with relevant parties are organised and that agenda papers and all associated research material is collated and presented to the Regions Director in advance of meetings. Allowing sufficient time for perusal and for the provision of additional back up information if required.

·         Arranging travel by air, rail, taxi and car for foreign and UK business trips. Book hotels, organising currency and liaising with meeting organisers regarding the requirements of the programme for the visit.

·         Managing e-mails and correspondence, allocating responsibility to appropriate staff in the regional department and tracking responses- co-ordinating administrative projects as required.

Successful candidates will be able to clearly demonstrate their experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint and will likely have experience with how professional bodies operate, having dealt with top level senior management in a previous role- or equivalent. It is desirable that candidates will have a high integrity built on trust and an ability to maintain confidence with the Director. You will be prepared to say if you don't know and the find the answer, admit any mistakes that may occur and take responsibility for putting them right.
